Law admission test (LAT)
History of the LAT:
Experts from all over
the world have conducted some tests to assess the academic aptitude of the
students. In the university of USA a test design for law known as LAT test. Since
1945 this test has been practicing in the University of USA to know the
aptitude of the students against law. This test is also practicing in India for
many years. So this test also consider necessary in Pakistan. So HEC held this
exam since 2018 for 5 year LLB program.

What are eligibility criteria for LAT?

After
Higher secondary school certificate HSSC or equivalent certificate student can
apply for the test.
·
That
student who gave exam of HSSC or equivalent and waiting for result also can
appear in LAT test.

How many time LAT test held within
one year in Pakistan?
·
This
test held three times in a year in Pakistan and student can appear in any of
the slot.
3.
Validity of LAT test.
·
LAT
test remains valid for two years
4. How can register for LAT:
For
Registration of LAT test, here are some guidelines. If student/applicant faces
any problem during registration, then visit this link ‘onlinehelp.hec.gov.pak’.

to register online.

Two steps are involved
in submitting an application, namely, completing the profile using ‘my
profile’ sector and submitting the application via ‘admission test’ link
from the menu bar to the left side of the portal.
5. How can we fill the form for LAT test?
·
Registration: For the starting the application process, the
candidate has to go to the application portal after the application has started
(link will be given on this page). The candidate then has to go through the
registration process, such as filling in the email ID, mobile number, name,
etc.

Fill in the relevant
details: The candidate has to fill in different parts of
the form, including educational, personal and contact details.
·
Uploading Documents: The
candidate will then need to upload scanned copies of the required documents -
photo and signature - in the required format.

LAT test syllabus:
Total marks of the test are 100. And the syllabus/pattern is
given below:

is fee plan for LAT?
Test fee
for LAT is RS.1000 and can be deposit through online or via ATM in account of HEC (higher education commission)

Please note!
·
Applicant has to submit the copy of the fee voucher slip and write his
CNIC no back of the voucher slip, at the given address.
·
Room#212,2nd floor, HRD building HEC H-8 Islamabad.
·
Test fee is not refundable.
·
Test conduct in the major cites of the Pakistan.
·
Applicants have to select any examination center from the application
form.
·
Examination center can’t be change after registration.
