BEST PLAN for Gaining Admission:

It is advised to take the NTS at least three times in order to enhance your scores because it is offered every two to three months. It is advisable to take the NTS at least twice even if you have a 90 percent grade so that you can learn as much as possible.

Therefore, the best course of action would be to take the NTS in December or January when you are still in FSc Part-II so that you have enough time to prepare again if you do not receive the necessary marks and have the time limit to take the NTS at least twice more before major university admission deadlines.

What is NAT-II in Pakistan:

NTS primarily administers the NAT-II Test to students seeking admission to Master's programs at reputed and NTS-affiliated colleges in Pakistan. The NAT-II is a well-known test that is primarily used for entrance to master's degree programs. It is an overall test, which means that its contents are not based on any one subject or course. Aspirants with a bachelor's degree (14 years of education) from any educational background are eligible to take this NAT II test. NAT II Exam is primarily required by professional degree-granting educational institutes in both the public and private sectors.

Categories of NAT-II:

NAT II is also divided into five types of NAT-2 exams:
  1. NAT IIM (Mathematics group)
  2. NAT IIB (Biological science group)
  3. NAT IIA (Arts and Social science group)
  4. NAT IIP (Physical sciences group)
  5. NAT IIO (Oriental and Islamic studies group)
  • While taking the NAT II exam, students select a group based on their individual fields of study.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to take the NAT-II test for admission to Master's programs:
Candidates who have completed 14 years of study or a Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the NAT-II test.

Paper pattern:

Every NAT-II is made up of two major components:
  • Analytical Section, Verbal Section, and Quantitative Section
  • General Knowledge, Islamiat, and Pakistan Studies are the subject parts.

Conclusion:

The National Aptitude Test (NAT) is used for admission to NTS-affiliated universities and DAIs (degree awarding institutes). Candidates will take a single test and will be eligible for admission to all universities in their subject area.
